Sooooo, it all started with "Vamos a traducir--->Hay las cosas que tu sabes y sabes que las sabes, etc." to Dr. Rood barks like a lazy dog while quick brown fox jumps repeatedly over him...drawing images, writing sentences (language of your choice), writing in the soon-to-be-extinct cursive form, to google images and computer fonts of your choice. Cryptograms! Then...cryptogram competitions where groups create cryptograms and challenge each other to decipher that of another group (Translate, Decipher, Decode) REDUX! :) (fun conversation). PS I love this class! (How many of you read this post? lol) Next, Case Scenario: "You have two friends who work at Home Depot...one smokes pot, the other snorts cocaine..."Which one will lose his/her job first?" Why? Discussion. Then, "How To! ...make a paper football"...aka Visual Learning 101. Finally: "Sex, Salad Bars, and Antelope" ...What is the connection? Conclusion?...TBD (to be determined).
